Our self catering ski apartment provides ideal accommodation in Argentiere in the heart of the Chamonix Valley. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the village of Argentiere and just a 4 minute walk to the Grand Montets ski lift, the apartment is in a prime location for your holiday, whether you're planning to ski, snowboard, climb, mountain bike, or just take in the fresh mountain air.

The Apartment

The Apartment is a great base for a family holiday and provides comfortable self catering accommodation for up to 6 or 7 guests. Comfort and convenience make this a great place to stay in Chamonix. An open plan lounge with huge picture windows, fully fitted kitchen, separate bathroom, shower room and W.C., 2 bedrooms and plenty of storage provide all the accommodation you need, and can be seen on our apartment floorplan.

In warmer weather, the large balcony is a great place to sit in the sun and enjoy the stunning views of the Chamonix Aiguilles and Mont Blanc. It also overlooks the private garden and the open air pool which is open throughout July & August.

Argentiere, in the heart of the Chamonix Valley, is a perfect location for a family holiday, summer or winter.

In winter, with skiing and snowboarding quite literally on the doorstep, there's also the opportunity to explore the other ski areas throughout the Chamonix valley. The lifts for the famous Grand Montets ski area are just a 4 minute walk from the door of the apartment. With runs from an altitude of 3300m good snow cover is just about guaranteed. And with a vertical drop of 2000m, your legs will be glad that your accommodation is so close to the bottom of the runs!

Also within easy reach of the Argentiere apartment are several other Chamonix valley ski areas, offering a variety of terrain, from steep and serious to easy and relaxed cruising. Domain de Balme (Le Tour), La Flegere and Le Brevent all provide excellent skiing and snowboarding. And don't forget the classic off-piste runs such as the world famous Vallee Blanche.

In summer, there's a wide choice of low level valley walks or paths into the higher mountains. Mountain biking is a fast growing sport in the valley, with the opportunity of using the uplifts to save your legs and your lungs! Alternatively, the valley offers a wide range of walks and other activities and sight seeing opportunities for all the family.

Getting There & Away

Geneva airport is served by a number of low-cost airlines and is a little over an hour away from the apartment in Argentiere and the Chamonix valley . Private and shared transfers to the door of the apartment can easily be arranged and we can offer a discounted service to our guests.

Alternatively, whilst a car is not necessary due to the excellent public transport and proximity of the ski lifts, it's an easy journey from the airport should you wish to hire one. We have arranged preferential rates on Geneva Airport Car Hire with RhinoCarHire. And if bringing your own car, the apartment in Argentiere also provides a locked garage for ease of parking (or secure mountain bike storage).
