Summer Activities In The Chamonix Valley

There’s no doubt that the apartment is a great place to stay in the winter, with the skiing and other winter sports in the Chamonix valley making it a number one holiday destination. However, once the snow melts there are even more reasons to head to Chamonix, with our Argentiere apartment as a perfect base for a family holiday.


Chamonix has a reputation for extreme sports, and deservedly so. But unless getting plenty of fresh air and working up a good appetite has been promoted to an adrenaline sport, then there’s also plenty of activities that will appeal to all the family.


There’s guidebooks and information galore out there, so go do your research. Meanwhile, here’s a few of our suggestions of the highlights which will appeal to a broad cross section of abilities and interests.


And its no coincidence that most of them involve fresh coffee and croissants for breakfast, plenty of fresh air and stunning scenery, and then a hasty retreat back to the Argentiere apartment for some late afternoon sunbathing and a swim in the outdoor pool. Oh, yes...!
